This Andalucian country house is a 10 minute drive from the nearest town mostly on tarmac road, the last 150m or so is a natural track in very good condition.
In front of the property is a shared and protected threshing circle (era) and the track circles this. The property sits on a large plot of land of approximately 17.000m2 but it is steep land with around 35 olive trees and other natural trees.
Double gates open to a covered parking space and next to this is a fenced area for dogs or other animals.
A slope down leads to both the detached annex ensuite bedroom with roof terrace and the main house. The annex room is a large double with a good sized shower room and built in wardrobes. The double glazed windows give views over the pool area and the countryside. Above this room is a roof terrace with wonderful views of the countryside and down to the swimming pool.
The house has two entrances. A main entrance opens to a distribution hall with the kitchen and living spaces off and a second entrance which leads to what is currently being used as a bedroom but would originally have been a dining room. A large fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops has views over the countryside and there’s lots of storage not just in the kitchen cabinets but also in the pantry. A part glass door leads off the kitchen into the dining room/bedroom.
The sitting room has high ceilings and an inset wood burning stove. Two double bedrooms are off the sitting room and a few steps lead up to a hall where you find the family bathroom and the final bedroom.
All the rooms have air-conditioning, double glazing and high ceilings.
From outside and between the annex room and dining room, steps lead down to the gorgeous pool area. This walled section has a large terrace with pergola, a good sized pool with built-in steps, and some garden areas. You also have access to the huge under-house utility/store room where you’ll find the heater for hot water and the storage tank for the well water.
The house has an alarm system, mains electricity and well water and there are security bars and gates so this is an excellent lock-up-an-leave holiday home. The separate external bedroom could be a good rental room or the whole property would make an excellent holiday let.
It is semi-detached but the design means that you cannot see the neighbour once you are through the entrance gates so it’s totally private and feels detached.
This is an excellently priced property and a viewing is highly recommended.
