The property is accessed off a paved road only 5 minutes drive to the nearest town and is set within rolling hillsides covered with a variety of trees including around 100 olive trees.

The property style is traditional hacienda with the house wrapped around a patio. Internally you have wood beamed ceilings and some Alhambra palace style decorative touches and with mosaic tiling in the bathrooms.

Main House:
The fully fitted kitchen and dining room are open plan and with access to the patio and off this room is the spacious sitting room with a double height wood beamed ceiling at one end and a single height beamed ceiling at the other. The contrast between the two parts of the sitting room makes for an interesting and stylish space. Off the sitting room is a reception room with access to the patio, and a shower room with corner cubicle shower. Via the sitting room is a door with access to a fenced yard with garden and a huge store room.
Also on the ground floor is a bedroom which if you needed, could be knocked through into the larger of the two apartments to make a very large bedroom in the apartment, and also then blocked off from the main house. It is also possible to knock through from the reception room to fully incorporate the apartment with the main house.
The stairs to the upper floor are next to the reception room and at the top on the right is a large bedroom with vaulted style ceiling and a big terrace with superb views. The principal bedroom has a Juliet balcony and a large en-suite with bath and separate shower.
Apartments:
The larger of the two apartments has a nice small terrace and private front door where you enter to a large open plan kitchen, sitting room dining room. The kitchen is traditional Andalucian style with curtains under the worktop rather than cabinets. There are two good sized bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and heating for the apartment is via a log burning stove.
The smaller of the apartments is studio style. It also has a small terrace at the front and the front door opens to a bedroom/sitting room with wood burning stove. A few steps down is a galley kitchen and at the rear is a shower room.
Both apartments are ideal for holiday lets or if you have a large family as private spaces for them. This area is popular with walkers, cyclists, people on motorbike routes and driving routes but it would also appeal to writers and artists not just for the tranquil spaces but the overall ambience of the area.


Pool:
The swimming pool (approx 12m x 5m) is on a flat plot above the property and has two ways to access it. You can get there via a track through the olive groves, either walking or by car, or you can use the staircase. The views from the pool are spectacular and it’s a great idea to have it away from the house should you have a lot of guests staying by offering privacy to anyone by the poolside but also anyone in the house or garden below. There’s a new filter (modern fibre glass) with new pump and next to the pool platform is a well and a water storage tank. The well also has a new pump. There’s room to create a summer kitchen which we think would be a great addition to this space.
Exterior Spaces:
Close to the house is a super breakfast or sunset dinner spot set amongst fragrant lavender and rosemary plants which affords you expansive views over the local countryside.
The overall plot is around 18.000m2 and has some fruit trees as well as olive trees. A neighbour looks after the olives but you can of course do this yourself.
The fenced area off the sitting room is partly terraced and at the far end is space for a veggie patch. The fence could be extended to make more garden should you want that and it’s ideal to have this area if you have dogs or small children.
The plot is over several levels so there’s always somewhere shady or sunny to sit and look at the views. You’ll never tire of the scenery here as each season is different and the changing light shows the countryside in a different colour palette throughout the year.

Malaga airport is around an hour and 15 minutes and Granada city around an hour and ten minutes. Viewings are strictly by appointment only.
